About

Here at Crushed by Sadness I have a dream, a small dream maybe. The dream is to share with you my reader why being who we were created to be is better than being someone medicated. I chose to be self medicated mainly with drug use (some would say dangerous drug use) from time to time, but I believe that for the most part I am true to who I was created to be.
I was created sad, some people are created happy (as annoying as they are) and really don’t understand how someone can go through life in a constant state of pleasant sadness. I am not sure if the world has more happy or sad people in it and don’t care which emotion is better represented by humans, I am sad and I am tired of apologizing for it.
As eternal optimist Michael Chabon says: Success does nothing to diminish the knowledge that failure stalks everything you do. But you always knew that. Nobody gets past the age of ten without that knowledge. Welcome to the club.
